• Embroidered flowers - an advertising ploy of the 1930s, and design ideas

What tricks do not go to manufacturers to increase sales of their products. Some methods are distinguished by a special grace. Meet the flower collection from the manufacturer of British cigarettes "Kenzitas" in the 1930s.

Three sizes of Kensitas silk flowers were released - one small-sized flower was put in a pack of 10 cigarettes, one medium-sized one in a pack of 20 cigarettes, one postcard-sized flower was put into a 50-cigarette box, and two cards in a 100-cigarette box.
Each flower was in protective paper packaging with its own description. Paper envelope sizes were 3.9 x 6.8 cm, 5.5 x 7.6 cm, and a postcard was 13.5 x 9.5 cm. There were also special albums for collecting collections in size.
Total released 230 designs of these magnificent liners.

    In albums.

In addition to collecting liners, their use for interior design has become popular, as can be seen in the examples below.
