How to run the setup program
Turn on the computer monitor, and then the computer itself. Watch for messages on the screen and system beeps.
Wait until the computer self-test program (POST) completes.
Press the F2 function key to launch BIOS Setup. At the bottom of the screen is a hint which key is responsible for calling the BIOS Setup, depending on the version of the installed OS. Repeat this procedure until the BIOS main menu appears.
Use the cursor, arrow keys and Page Up and Page Down to navigate through the program menu. Use the Enter key to select the desired menu items and open links.
Use the Main section of the BIOS setup main menu to set the system date and time, as well as the parameters of the hard drives.
Define general BIOS settings in the BIOS Features Setup section.
Use the Integrated Peripherals section to configure the interface parameters and additional system functions of the system.
Use the Power Management Setup section to configure all power options and computer power consumption.
Use the PnP / PCI Configurations section to associate an interrupt (IRQ) to your computer's expansion cards.
Use the Hardware Monitor section to determine the values of the system sensors: CPU temperature or fan speed.
Use the Load Setup Defaults section to restore the BIOS default settings and eliminate any changes made.
Select Exit to complete the configuration and select Exit and Save Changes to confirm the changes applied.
Press the Y key to confirm your choice and close the BIOS Setup program.
Restart the computer.
